Rennie®Sugar Free tablets work in the usual fast way to relieve the symptoms of heartburn and indigestion, but without the sugar for those who need to monitor their sugar intake.Rennie®Sugar Free tablets contain two antacids called calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate which neutralise excess stomach acid by turning it into water & other natural substances. Calcium carbonate acts directly in the oesophagus, as well as the stomach, and both antracids are then eliminated by your body.
Use with caution in patients with impaired renal function in which calcium and magnesium levels should be monitored regularly. You should carefully read all product packaging and labels prior to use.
The usual dosage is 1 to 2 tablets initially, up to 3 - 4 times per day. In case of more frequent or severe pain, the dose may be increased for a short period, up to 10 tablets per day. This medicine is only for adults and children over 12 years. The duration of treatment is limited to 14 days.
Each tablet contains: Calcium Carbonate Ph. Eur. 680mg and Heavy Magnesium Carbonate Ph. Eur 80mg Also contains Sorbitol (E420), Magnesium Stearate, Potato Starch, Pregelatinised Maize Starch, Talc, Spearmint Flavour Liquid Paraffin, Saccharin Sodium.
