The gel is applied to the local site of your muscle or joint pain.Voltarol Osteoarthritis Joint Pain Relief Gel contains an active ingredient called Diclofenac Diethylammonium which is an non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that is extremely effective for reducing inflammation and pain. It is used for relieving local pain and inflammations of muscles, joints, ligaments; injuries like strains, bruises, and sprains; and rheumatism. By simply rubbing Voltarol Gel onto your skin its healing properties are absorbed into the underlying tissues and relieve pain and inflammation.
Not for use by children under 14 years. Do not use for more than 14 days, unless longer treatment is recommended by a doctor. If symptoms persist for longer than 7 days, consult your doctor. The gel can be applied to a maximum of two joints (such as knees and elbows). If you need to apply the gel to more than 2 joints, consult your doctor. Do not use more than 100g of Voltarol Osteoarthritis Joint Pain Relief 1.16% Gel in one week.
Adults and children 14 years and over: Use an amount the size of a one penny or two penny piece, rub gently 3 - 4 times into skin over the affected area daily. Massage into the skin over the affected site. Wash hands after use (unless they are the site being treated).
